This Buffalo Chicken Pizza is inspired by my go-to Domino’s order. This Domino’s copycat recipe has flavorful chicken tossed in buffalo sauce, mozzarella cheese and lots of red onion and green onions. The perfect weeknight pizza treat!

Today we’re trashing it up. There’s nothing artisanal about this pizza. It doesn’t wear suspenders, a pageboy hat or do the whole fancy-talk about coffee. This is 100% inspired by Domino’s genius idea of making this pizza taste like buffalo wings. This recipe is like my Buffalo Chicken Wrap.
Ingredients You’ll Need for Buffalo Chicken Pizza

- Chicken. I like to use a boneless skinless chicken breast. And sauté it in a pan and then toss it with the buffalo sauce.
- Red onion. This gives a nice bite to the pizza.
- Ranch dressing. I love ranch or bleu cheese for this pizza.
- Green onions. We’re going double onion!
- Mozzarella cheese. The most appropriate cheese for any pizza.
For the rest of the ingredients, please see the recipe index card below!
How to Make Buffalo Chicken Pizza
- Make the dough. I like to combine the flour, salt, sugar, and instant dry yeast.
- Pour in the warm water and olive oil. Mix until combined. And then let rise for about 1 hour. This is a quick rise pizza dough.
- Stretch into a thin pizza dough. I like to work this gently into a circle of dough.
- Place it on a baking steel or pizza pan.
- In a pan, add the cubed up chicken. And cook until it’s thoroughly cooked. Transfer to a bowl and toss with the buffalo sauce.
- Add ranch dressing to the center of the pizza dough, leaving a 1-inch rim around. Top with the chicken and then finally the cheese and slivers of red onion.
- Transfer to the oven for about 15 minutes, until the pizza is golden brown and cheese has melted.
- Top with green onions and a drizzle of ranch dressing.

You got options!
P.S. I know I was gone for a week but I didn’t forget you I swear, I’m back for good now.

Frank’s Hot Sauce helped me to increase my vegetable intake dramatically in college. And by vegetables, I mean french fries. Looks delish!
This pizza is calling my NAME! Yum.
I really like how you sliced it–a good reminder that it doesn’t have to be triangled. This is more kid-friendly (easy to hold) too.
Oh hadn’t thought of that!
One of fav trashy pizzas!
Could you recommend a good pizza crust recipe? I would love to make my own to try with this =) Nomnom
Yes, I love Jim Lahey’s recipe. It’s a classic and it works like a charm.

You never fail to crack a smile from me with how you write. 🙂
Thank you, friend!
I don’t care how trashy it seems…this is right up my alley. Winning.
Ohhhhhh man, that looks good. I am wary of anything “buffalo-style” only because it does seem a little trashy but sometimes, you gotta do what you gotta do, namely, spread some blue cheese on some carbs and slather it with Frank’s hot sauce! Bravo, Adrianna!
Sometimes it’s just gotta be done. 🙂
Get it, gurl.
What a gorgeous pizza Adrianna! Oustanding and i love the toppings…
