I have another potato with cheese (and cheese) and butter recipe for you.
I swear I’m not trying to kill you; it’s just I like cheese.
I kinda figure it’s like math…you know, two negatives make a positive, OR depending on your life perspective, two positives make a big gigantic cheesy, calorie-filled positive. I consider myself a super optimissitc person, so I’ll go with the latter.
If you are too, then hop over to PW’s Tasty Kitchen blog where I did a guest blogging situation. You’ll find: step-by-step pictures, the recipe and me waxing poetic about cheese and butter. You know, THE USUAL!!!
LOVEYOUBYE
P.S. I’ll post a recipe of some salad soon. Or not.

My mom cooks potatoes in this sliced fashion as well & it’s to die for. Every morsel from every slice is slathered in goodness! I can relate to the decadence of this recipe. Potato. Butter. Cheese. Where do I sign?!
Cheers!

I saw this on the TK site and thought it was such a good idea to slice and stuff potatoes with butter and cheese (we need our calcium). This is the time of year when the 10 lb bags of potatoes go on sale for super low prices…and when I go a little crazy buying too many of them….so this recipe will come in very handy for me.
ooooh looks incredible! i nominated you for the versatile blogger award, pass it on! http://blondiebakesandbikes.wordpress.com/2011/10/05/versatile-blogger-award/
These look awesome and reminded me that it’s been over a…decade..since Ive had hasselback potatoes. Whoops! Must change that, now.
I am seriously in love with these. Making them tonight!
My husband is going to love these!
Just found your site through Joy the Baker’s twitter! These look great – perfect for fall. Thanks!
I’ve never seen potatoes like that, they look cute AND delicious! I actually have an extra potato in my kitchen that I haven’t known what to do with, pretty sure I’ll be giving this recipe a try!
We can have salad any day;) But a yummy, buttery, cheesy potato…. oh yeah!
Adrianna, keep the cozy comfort food coming our way.

Yummy! Can’t wait for cooler temps in Florida – perfect comfort food, butter and all 😀
I read this yesterday on Tasty Kitchen’s page and was drooling! Question about the cream, how does that actually do anything to the potato? It looks like it would just run off. I’m confused on that. I’m easily confused though. haha.
This looks absolutely heavenly! Love your writing too….definitely brightens my day to know that someone else considers potatoes, cheese and butter of life’s finer ingredients!
My grandma makes potatoes like this! I love them.
Oh sweet mammy jammy. Those three things were made to be joined together in our bellies. I’m making these over the weekend, for sure!
I like your math…
My roommate Laura is addicted to potatoes and I can’t wait to make this for her. She’s trying to convert me so maybe this will be a good starting point.
I saw this on Tasty Kitchen and thought I practically died and went to heaven. Swooooon.
I never thought a potato could look so beautiful
Oh. My. Word.
I’m visiting my dad in Virginia and we just saw this. Without pause he said, “Send me that recipe, right now.”

These are currently baking in my oven, as I write this. I have no heavy cream, so I am subbing it, for a vegan protein broth I have on hand! This is my first hasselback potato, so I am very excited to try it!!! Now if I could only make the oven cook faster! 🙂
hopefully this turned out right! 🙂
