About Us
Adrianna
I’m a twenty-something living, learning and eating my way through Los Angeles. And while I have no formal training, my education and love for food derives from growing up in my parent’s kitchen, where the preparation and cooking of food was treated much more like an event, than a chore. I appreciate the subtle things in life, like a perfectly ripe avocado, the smell of fresh basil in my small, but cute container garden, and watching someone eat something I put a little love into. Please stay awhile and enjoy our food journey that is A Cozy Kitchen dot com.

Let me make it clear that I am not a chef, nor have I been to any culinary school or institute. Instead, I learned to cook in both my mother’s kitchen and in my first job as a waitress/prep cook. (shout out to all my peeps at Saluda Grade Cafe!) I’m further educating myself by lots of trials and LOTS of errors in my own kitchen in Los Angeles. Although I was raised in the South on BBQ & hamburgers, I am absolutely loving my current (mostly) meat-free diet. My fiance Chase is my official taste tester, and for him that can be a good or bad thing depending on the day. I like to cook things that are cozy and comforting, and I’m always trying to find recipes that are new and different. I hope you enjoy our recipes as much as we enjoy making them!
